Vintage Journal - "The Silver Star"
Vintage Journal - "The Silver Star"
We come across so many amazing vintage western hardback novels that are hanging together by literal threads. We found a neat way to give them new life! And y’all know me, I’m a big scrapbooker, and these vintage journals are perfect for keeping all your paper treasures, keepsakes and notes!
This journal is made from a 1944 Tower Books edition of “The Silver Star” by Jackson Gregory, first published in 1931.
We normally include the cover pages, first few chapters and any and all illustrations in the journals - however the pages of this book had just too much water damage, so we included the first few cover pages and added extra journal pages instead!
This journal is made from a novel that is likely over 80 years old! The cover in addition to the pages we feel need to be included in the journal may have some spots, age, markings, owner signatures or wear.
Each journal features generally has 70 to 80 pages of unlined, blank, 25% cotton heavy weight paper. This journal has closer to 100.
We are still getting the hang of making these journals! The binding may not be perfectly round - but we are getting better with each journal we’ve made!
Each journal is individual and unique - no two are the same!
