Vintage Branding Iron Caribe Platters

Vintage Branding Iron Caribe Platters

$60.00

Iroquois/Sterling owned Caribe Ceramics and China was in operation from 1948 to 1966 in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Both of these dinner/serving platters are both stamped with the Caribe Puerto Rico USA stamp and are either date stamped “S2” or “Q2” (they’re hard to read!) meaning they were likely made in April - June of either 1964 or 1966. I’m able to find the manufacture dates for Caribe China but I haven’t been able to find the true name or line of this pattern, and so far I haven’t been able to find any other dinnerware manufacturers who have used this pattern either.

  • We have two of these platters available and they’re for sale individually!

  • These platters measure 11.75” long and 9.75” wide.

  • Both have a few small light scuffs here and there and each have identical production spots (not chips) on the undersides. Both are in immaculate condition!
